Kichcha Sudeep: We don't need to impress another language

We don't need to impress another language. We love our mother tongue. And we respect other languages, Kichcha Sudeepa said in an interview.

Talking to a Kannada news channel (Public TV), Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep said while promoting his next Vikrant Rona.

He said: We are watching Korean, Thai and other languages cinema. It is not our Indian language. Our people quickly connect with a different language.

In other countries, filmmakers don't make movies for the Indian audience; they work on stories and scripts which attracts different language audience.

We don't need to impress another language. We love our mother tongue. The same goes for other languages.

No one here has any resentment over language. There is no unrest among the people.

Responding to a question about PM Narendra Modi's statement about language, Kichcha said: I am happy about it.

I respect what Ajay Devgn said. I have met him once; he is a genuine person, he misunderstood my statement, and I just clarified it to him. Everyone loves their language. No one has a hatred for another language.
