Law minister Kiren Rijiju: Govt received 1,631 graft plaints against judges in last five years

About 1,631 complaints (from January 2017 to December 2021) in the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) on the functioning of the judiciary

Rijiju said since the accountability in the higher judiciary is maintained through an “in-house mechanism”, all such complaints are forwarded to the CJI or the CJs concerned.
