Tata Altroz DCA Automatic: The Tata Altroz automatic will go up against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno AMT, Hyundai i20 CVT, Volkswagen Polo AT and Honda Jazz CVT
Tata Motors has today unveiled its Altroz Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA) with a price starting that is Rs8.1 million (ex-showroom).
Altroz DCA is a sophisticated dual-clutch transmission specially designed specifically for Indian consumers.
It is Altroz DCA comes with 45 patents and is the world’s first DCT that has a planetary gearing system.
The DCA version of the hatchback is packed with many first-of-the-line features like a Wet clutch that has active cooling technology the machine-learning feature, Shift via Wire technology, a Self-healing mechanism and an Auto park lock.
The Altroz DCA will be fitted to its 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and will be offered in four top versions that include XM+ XT, XZ, and XZ+.
The more expensive variant will be costing Rs9.89 million (ex-showroom).

Additionally, it will be available in the Altroz DCA will be a part of the #Dark collection other than colours like Downtown Red, Arcade Grey, Avenue White and Harbour Blue colour.

Its Altroz DCA sports premium leatherette seats, auto headlamps 7 inch touchscreen made by Harman 7-inch touchscreen digital display, back AC vents and iRA connected vehicle technology, among other amenities.
